what is a radius

Let us learn what is a radius?

The space from the center to the edge of a circle

it is 1/2 of the circle's diameter is called radius
Find the diameter of the circle whose area is 22cm.
Solution:
Given that the area of the circle is 22cm.
Area of the circle = pi *r2
22 = pi * r2
22 = 3.14 * r2
Divide by 3.14 on both sides
22/3.14 = 3.14 * r2/3.14
71.66 = r2
r = √7.01
r = 2.65cm.
Diameter of a circle = 2 * radius
= 2 * 2.65
=5.3cm.

electric range parts

Let us learn about electric range parts.

Electric ranges are useful the main reason why people use Electric range because, it heats up only at the top and the efficiency is very high and they left no residue as waste.
The electric ranges are very smooth and frictionless surface & it is easy to clean. After that the new technology came which is for the professional kitchens. The technology is of induction-based stoves called induction stoves.

The heat which is generated in the induction stoves is due to the electromagnetic induction and in these stoves, we use the utensils having bottom of ferromagnetic substances.

Electric ranges are very famous in urban & rural areas. Electric range is more efficient than gas ranges. The electric range helps us in saving time, it cooks very fast and in more quantity food as compared to the gas stoves. All-electric range is the driving range of a vehicle using only power from its electric battery pack to traverse a given driving cycle

In our next blog we shall learn about electron configuration of all elements I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.

parts of a circle

Let us learn about parts of a circle.

Radius, Diameter, Chord, Secant line, Tangent line,

To find diameter of circle we need to us this formula = D = 2r or r = (1/2)d

Find the diameter of the circle whose radius is 4 cm.
Solution:
Formula: d = 2r
To find: diameter of the circle.
d = 2*r = 2*4 = 8 cm.

In our next blog we shall learn about formula for sodium carbonate I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.

how i survived middle school

Surviving Middle School: Tips For Parents From A Middle School Counselor
Hi Friends!!!

How many of you like school days?

The thought of middle school days always brings back special memories. A lovely & cool atmosphere with lots of fun activities. I remember how I survived middle school when ever I see children going school. My school days have become sweet memories of my life. You and your child can enjoy these middle school years only if you:
• Help them to build a sense of self-confidence.
• help them to understand their needs & allow them to spend time with friends.
• Stay firm but flexible when ever necessary.
• And most important is, always keep the lines of communication open.
I can say college life is golden life, lower school is silver life and middle school is diamond life.
Middle school can be ever challenging time in a student's life.

In our next blog we shall learn about nitrogen fixing bacteria. Keep reading and leave your comments.

equilateral triangle

Hi Friends!!!

Can you identify which is the equilateral triangle from given figures.

A triangle in which all three sides are equal or balanced is called an equilateral triangle.

Equilateral triangles are also equiangular; that is, all three internecine angles are also congruent to apiece else and are apiece 60°. They are routine polygons, and can thus also be referred to as regular triangles.

The altitude h of an equilateral triangle is
h=s sin 60 degree
=1/2(√ 3)*a
In our next blog we shall learn about volume of a cube I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.

area of a circle

Let us learn about area of a circle formula

The area of a circle is the number of square units inside that circle.
A circle is a closed smooth curve, each point on the boundary of which is equidistant from a fixed point inside it which is called the centre
Area is the measure of surface occupied by an object. The standard unit for measurement of area is meter square (m2).However the area of smaller dimensions can be expressed in mm2 or cm2. The areas of large dimensions can be expressed in acre or hectare
area of a circle examples
Finding the area of circle with radius equal to 6.5 inch using π = 3.14
Solution:The Area of circle as, A=πr2
Substitute the values of radius and π.
Therefore, A= (3.14 * 6.5*6.5)
Squaring the radius and then multiplying with 3.14 and then we get,
Area=3.14 * 42.25
answers to area of circle = =132.67 square inch.
